Seth Turned One!

January 5th, 2009 seems like it was just the other day yet on Tuesday of this week we celebrated the birth of our Seth one year ago. It has been such a sweet year with him in our lives. In fact I started this blog before he was born but never posted any blogs until now... man the year went fast! We turned Seth's carseat around and he is suddenly more interested than ever in going places. He loves being able to see everyone in the car and see all the cars passing when we drive. The first time we went anywhere was at night, out to eat to celebrate so it was dark. By the next morning when we went somewhere he was quite excited. I made a small home made cake and we gave him the platter allowing him to grab the cake as he pleased. He was mainly interested in touching the sticky texture. I then cut him a priece and the messiness began. He cleaned the plate, leaving some eye holes through the frosting so we could see his big blue eyes. Not quite that covered but it was all over! On Sunday we will have a small birthday party for him here at home and I plan on making a Baby Einstein Caterpillar cake with banana, chocolate and funfetti sections. Banana is his favorite flavor of anything, he is such a little monkey!
